Rama Chandra Murty Veluri was born in 1949. He did his graduation from Andhra University with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1972.
He started his career in New Delhi, where he gained some professional experience along with a post graduate diploma in business management. His work background exposed him to the epoxy manufacturing industry, which initially piqued his interest in high voltage electrical insulation.
A scientist by profession, but an innovator at heart, he conducted extensive research and presented various technical papers, laying the foundation for what was to become Pressgel Insulations Pvt. Ltd. Established in 1981, he started the company with his partner Mr. Bipin Shah. At a time when the pressure gelation process was still relatively unknown in India, it took him years of trial and error to pioneer the technique and design his own machines.
The company started small and gradually expanded to cater to the requirements of big organisations like BHEL, L&T, Jyoti ltd and others. Since its inception the company has always placed quality production and customer’s best interest at heart.
His leadership motto is to “exactly engineer and exceptionally deliver”!
